Counting is now over and the referendum in Wales has been won and about time too. Now Welsh politicians can be held to account. If they have promised to do something, they can no longer blame Westminster for holding up the delivery of the project.
Now as a proud Englishman I feel the previous Labour government and current coalition governement are discriminating against me. On key areas of policy, like health, education and housing, Welsh people, Scottish people and and residents of Northern Ireland can vote for the their fellow men/women to lead on these areas. Yet I do not have the same opportunity. Instead decisions on these areas are made in Westminster, by all members, whether representing English, Scottish, Welsh etc. How unfair is this?
So with direct law making powers in three or the four nations of the United Kingdom, it's time for English people to be on a level playing field and an English Parliament is established.

Well said.
If you haven't already, please join the Campaign for an English Parliament http://www.thecep.org.uk
Problem is no politician is listening to us. Shamefully, they've all got their fingers in their ears going la-la-la. The final straw was the SNP abolishing prescription charges this week whilst at the same time they were being increased in England. If the many readers comments in various newspapers were anything to go by, the English people are finally beginning to wake up and demand an ENGLISH PARLIAMENT.
If you're a proud Englishman, what are you doing in a party that's notorious for its Anglophobic bigotry?
Shouldn't you amend your profile to 'Loughton, Essex, England'? If you believe the kingdom to be 'united', you must be on some very illegal and very dangerous substances.
Are there any other Lib Dems who also want an English Parliament? If so maybe you could form a pressure group.
Yesterday it was free prescription charges in Scotland. Today it is no tuition fees for five years

A man (or woman) can be in any party he wants and still love his country,
So a man who stands and say's he is a "proud Englishman" is all right by me.
PS. I hope you are a member of the Campaign for an English Parliament
We hear this morning that the Big Society Bank or whatever it is called will be funded by English taxpayers money but be open for all the UK to use. Yet another example of the exploitation of England by the British Government
Quote: 'We are now equal partners in the United Kingdom"
Scotland - own EU Regional Assembly and Government, continue to send laughably titled "United Kingdom" MP's to interfere and vote on English legislation.
Wales - own EU Regional Assembly and Government, continue to send laughably titled "United Kingdom" MP's to interfere and vote on English legislation.
N Ireland - own EU Regional Assembly and Government, continue to send laughably titled "United Kingdom" MP's to interfere and vote on English legislation.
England - No Parliament or Government of it's own, the only part of the laughably titled "United Kingdom" ruled by the "UK" Parliament, with MP's from outisde England dictating English affairs, while "UK" MP's elected in England have NO say whatsoever of what happens in the Scottish, Welsj and N Irish EU Regions.
That's 'equal' partners is it?, more like specially and preferentially treated subsidy drunk little Regions bankrolled at England's expense.
Camoron, the 'Coalition' and McLabour will continue to just use the word 'Britain' for England, purposefully trying to hide from people that they only have any say over England and to keep quiet the fact that the "United Kingdom" is a sham and null and void in all but name, making silly English Morlocks think that it is still a "United Kingdom".
